The Intuitive Websites team is led by Tom Young and is composed of a network of experienced Internet strategy, design, and development consultants who have worked for a variety of industries. Rather than recommend a nail because we have a hammer, we design a solution that truly meets client needs and create the right team to deliver effectively and efficiently.
Thomas Young, MBA
Tom is co-founder and CEO of Intuitive Websites. He has twenty-one years' experience in marketing and sales, including internet marketing and usability research. Tom has worked with corporate clients around the country and is passionate about understanding customers and how they use the Web. He is the author of Intuitive Selling. His clients include Office Depot, NEC, The American Funds, Colorado College, Land Title, Bosca Leather and Copper Mountain Ski Resort to name a few. Tom's client list is a testament to his ability to work with and get results for organizations. Tom is a Vistage speaker and a national speaker on Internet Marketing and Web Usability. Dennis McCarthy
Dennis is an Internet Marketing Consultant for Intuitive Websites. He specializes in Website ROI, lead generation, keyword research, pay per click and search engine marketing. Dennis has over twenty years experience with technology and marketing in a wide variety of industries. He has worked with corporate clients around the country in helping their Websites create relationships that convert to customers.
In addition to Web marketing, Dennis's background includes software development, publishing and extensive small business marketing. He has a BFA in Music from Butler University in Indianapolis.
Bob Shinn
Bob
has over 24 years of experience developing software and
telecommunication systems. During his career he has co-founded three
hi-tech companies, held several technical management positions, and led
the development of complex communications systems for customers
including the Department of Defense, MCI, Premiere Conferencing,
Stanford Telecomm, and Taiwan Telecommunications Network. His current
focus is on applying the latest Internet technologies including XHTML,
XML Web Services, Voice over Internet Protocol, and ASP.Net.
Joanne Glaspoole
Joanne, a Joomla developer and search engine marketer, has been working in web design since 1999. Her expertise is developing interactive, database generated websites in Joomla content management system. Her portfolio includes e-commerce and portal sites. What makes Joanne unique is her ability to work with her clients to create a compelling and unique marketing message that is targeted toward an ideal audience, generating high quality leads that result in sales. She teaches people how to succeed on the Internet.
Joanne is an active member of the Business Network International (BNI), Minnesota Interactive Marketing Association (MIMA) and Twin Cities Web Professionals (TC Web Pros). She graduated from Metropolitan State University in 1999 with a BA from the College of Arts & Sciences.
Melissa Gacek
Melissa Gacek has been working in design, media, printing and advertising for over eleven years. Her expertise is in branding, identity and print design; her style is fresh, colorful and modern. What makes Melissa unique is her ability to help identity and strategize key business objectives for each project and to help set any product or service apart from the competition. Her work not only projects striking images—her work gets results. Melissa has worked with a wide variety of clients and industries, from Fortune 200 companies to start-ups.
Melissa holds a B.A. with honors from the University of St. Thomas in journalism/advertising and art history and keeps current with continued training at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design.
Patric Engelkins
Patric has worked in technical and IT fields for over eight years and brings insights to the team with his experience in coding, unix and Windows system administration and hardware architecture design. Patric is always on the cutting edge of Web development so that customers will stay ahead of the main stream and improve their business. Patric has worked for major IT consulting companies providing a wide variety of skills to accomplish large projects in several industries including health care, civil engineering and telecommunications. He has a strong passion for Website design and desire to drive customers to push their online identity to their maximum potential.
