Cordera Case Study

Project: Monthly Website Perfomance

  • Website Review Plan
  • Search Engine Optimization and Pay Per Click
  • Usability Testing

Background

La Plata Investments, based in our hometown of Colorado Springs, asked us to help with their overall Web efforts in marketing their new residential development Cordera.  La Plata became a great client because we worked on a variety of programs and were able to see solid results using a comprehensive approach.

We included their Website developer and design company in our consulting meetings and were able to integrate the entire team into our recommended Website strategy for Cordera.com.  This led to excellent results and an increase in inquiries and interest in Cordera.

The first step was to develop a solid strategy for the site and measure all available stats.  From there, user testing confirmed the strategy and led to some modifications and a new site design.  Currently, we are driving traffic to the site and meeting monthly to review the site’s progress and all related stats.

Services Provided by Intuitive Websites

  • Website review plan and strategy
  • Search engine optimization
  • Pay per click set-up and monitoring
  • Usability testing in Denver and Colorado Springs
  • Monthly Web performance meetings

Results

The user testing was a great success for Cordera and a driving force in restructuring the Website navigation and design.  Many key recommendations came from the testing including how to use video, photos, content, navigation, branding, conversions and much more.

Cordera measures results through increased traffic to their Website and leads provided to home builders marketing within the Cordera development. Through our search engine and usability work we were able to accomplish both these tasks and also recommend several options for tracking Website leads.  This lead generation program is not easy to track as many homebuyers drive directly to the home site or work with a realtor and do not leave a record of how they became a lead on the Web.  Cordera is currently reaping the rewards of increased visibility and inquiries in a very competitive real estate market.

Adams State College Case Study

Project: Website Strategy, Design and Development

Adams State College, a premier public small college in Alamosa, CO contracted Intuitive Websites to help with an overhaul of their Website. We started with a comprehensive Website Plan. We surveyed users from their target markets of prospective and current students, staff and faculty, alumni, extended studies, and community & visitors. We conducted a comprehensive competitive analysis of local and national colleges and universities. Leveraging survey results, best practices, Web statistics, sound usability and design principles, we provided recommendations for their new site design, navigation, and content, complete with a revised site map.

Next, we developed three new Website designs for Adams State to review and provide feedback. After revisions and approvals from Adams State, we developed templates to integrate with their CMS technology and allow their Webmaster to take the design and run with the development.

Before

Once the new site design was built out, we conducted user testing. As we hoped, the users provided some suggestions for improvements while also giving the usability and design high marks...it pays to do the research up front

After
